P .E. <br />Division Direc:tor <br /> <br />Re: Pole Mountain Dam <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Wamsley: <br /> <br />This letter is to confirm our telephone conversation of last week and to outline how <br />we proceed to process a loan for you. <br /> <br />Any loan from the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) construction fund <br />must be recommended to the Legislature by the CWCB. The CWCB acts on loan <br />applications in November of each year. The Board tben sends its recommendations to the <br />legislature in January for that years budget, <br /> <br />In order for us to meet this schedule, we need you to full out the following papers: <br /> <br />a. Loan application <br />b. Personal financial statement (we assume that you and tbe Cattle Company are <br />the same). <br />c, Return the above two papers to us by November 1, 1992, <br /> <br />We have checked with the Colorado State Engineers office who have jurisdiction over <br />dams in Colorado and they will require you to employ an engineer to check density test and <br />field control on the work to be finished, additionally they will require a set of plans signed <br />by the design engineer or whoever inspected the work. We estimate that it will cost about <br />$3,000 for this item, We checked with Mr. Moore who was the designer and he indicated <br />that he would be willing to complete this phase of the work. <br /> <br />We are able at this time to offer 100% funding. The interest rate and term will <br />depend upon your financial statement. Under the circumstances, we will waive the <br />
