FINANCIAL

The revenue for water sales in 1974 was $31,504; and, the revenue for

water sales in 1975 was $75,346. The 139 percent increase in water revenue

was due largely to the new water rates which were put into effect on Jan-

uary I, 1975. These water rates are:

Each additional 1,000 gallons:
$1.30 per 1,000 gallons

In April, 1975 the following minimums were added to the rate schedules:

Minimum for multiple dwelling units
Minimum for large motels

$21.00 for each living unit
$21.00, plus $1.50 per unit

These rates were again revised in 1976 to allow water users along the

raw water line who receive untreated water a lesser rate, and also allowed

for qualifying senior citizens a lesser rate. The current tap fees for the

town of Eagle's water system are as follows in the table below.
