This area has a seep problem and a slow ditch that al lows <br />water to leave the system. Other Identified areas are minor in <br />comparison to those I isted. These areas are mainly on side laterals and <br />wi I I not be detrimental to the systems operation, so we have not <br />addressed them In this report. <br />This report wi I I mainly deal with items Identified in the Long Term <br />Agreement since they have assured funds from ASCS for these areas. <br />Recommendatlonsl <br />- Instal I al I projects as identified In Long TErm Agreement with the <br />Agricultural Stabl i ization and Conservation Service. <br />- Work with individual laterals off the main ditch and <br />planning meeting with those Individuals to determine needs <br />method to address seepage and water distribution problems. <br />Work with the Sol I Conservation Service on design needs for <br />Identified critical areas. <br />- Work with individual water users on the system so they can become <br />aware of basic water management practices that they need to be aware of <br />so the entire ditch system can operate more efficiently. <br />It is feit that by building the structures identified in the Long Term <br />Agreement the DeWeese Dye Ditch System wi I I be able to supply its users <br />with the water they need to, and with proper Irrigation Water Management <br />they wi II be able to decrease salt loading to the Arkansas River and <br />prevent seep damage to buildings along its main del Ivery ditch. <br /> <br />set <br />and <br /> <br />up a <br />best <br /> <br />3 <br />
