".1

The method of analysis used was that given in the Design of Small
Dams by the Bureau of Reclamation, dated 1974. Peak rates of flow and
volumes of various inflow design floods are given in this section and relative
comments concerning each.

Section II contains the reservoir hydraulic studies including the in-
flow design flood routing through the reservoir.

Section 1II is analysis of the dam as to its structural integrity. In-
cluded are discussions concerning seepage through the dam, analysis of the
outlet pipe, subsidence in the embankment etc.

Section IV contains alternate designs for the repair of . the dam in-
cluding recommendations for the spillway, embankment and outlet pipe.
Also included is a cost effective analysis for each of the above alternates
to determine the best solution for repair of the dam. Various methods of
financing the repairs are presented.

The appendix of this :report contains the result of a soils investigation
by Materials Testing Service, a bibliography, decrees of water rights on
Chicago Creek and drawings relating to existing alternate designs of the
drainage basin, existing features of the dam and various alternate designs
for repair of the dam.

- 2 -
