A preliminary layout and design <br />is attached as Appendix A. <br /> <br />The Company will contract with a private general contractor to complete construction of <br />the project. The Company will attempt to remove the existing concrete lined ditch with their <br />own forces prior to construction. In the event they are unsuccessful in the attempted removal, <br />they will negotiate a Change Order with the general contractor for the required work. <br /> <br />Water Rights <br /> <br />The company owns 231 shares ofthe Grand Valley Canal, with average delivery of 4.27 <br />cfs. Water delivered by the AML350DC must be used on designated lands in the service <br />area only, according to AML350DC Bylaws/Articles ofIncorporation <br /> <br />Cost Estimate <br /> <br />The selected alternative is estimated to cost a total of$155,000. The Natural Resources <br />Conservation Service will contribute the planning and design costs. The construction cost <br />estimate, including contingencies, was provided by the NRCS and is included in Appendix B. <br />Removal of the existing concrete lined ditch is not included in the NRCS cost estimate, but is <br />expected to add $10,000 to the final project cost. <br /> <br />Item <br /> <br />Estimated Cost <br /> <br />I.
