A detailed scope of <br />work for this feasibility study is summarized below. <br /> <br />. Review existing data and reports prepared for the subject project as well as existing and <br />available geologic, hydrologic and topographic information about the project site; <br /> <br />. Visit the project site to: <br /> <br />1) perform detailed geologic mapping of the exposed rock conditions at the proposed <br />tunnel alignment; and <br />2) conduct a site walk through along the proposed pipeline route. <br /> <br />· Meet with concerned regulatory agencies and determine the permitting requirements and <br />anticipated schedules; <br /> <br />· Perform preliminary engineering analyses and determine the engineering and construction <br />requirements for both the bypass pipeline and tunnel alternatives; <br /> <br />. Evaluate and optimize the possible tunnel alternatives; <br /> <br />· Prepare a cost estimate for the proposed optimum tunnel configuration and bypass pipeline <br />alternatives; <br /> <br />· Perform a life cycle cost analysis and compare the bypass pipeline to the diversion tunnel <br />alternate; <br /> <br />· Prepare a draft report summarizing the results of the feasibility studies; <br /> <br />· Meet with representatives of the Colorado Water Conservation Board and the Ute Water <br />Conservancy District to present our conceptual design and cost estimate and to discuss <br />possible concerns; and <br /> <br />· Finalize the draft report to reflect the comments and provide answers to possible questions <br /> <br />and concerns brought up during meeting. <br /> <br />7 <br />
