The
Conser~ancy District will also be monitoring thQ s~ability of the river in the
project area.

The project meets the Book Cliff 5011 Conservation District's annual plan and long
range plan priority, 'Degradation of Water Quality, Quantity and Delivery Systems.'

The Bureau of Reolamation will collect the survey date and water flow rate data to
be used in the design development; prOvide information regardini original plans and
specifications for the Silt Inlet Can$l; coordinate the de6ign proc.ss with the
Natural Resource Conservation Service and provide technical COnsultation Quring
project de9ign and implementation.

All investigations and research hav& ~een done in order to meet nseds and applicable
standard~.

The Silt Conservancy District will obeain the necessary legal clearances, easements
and permitS from local, state and =ed~ral entiti.s prior to ccnstruction of the
improvement. Soil Co0se~,ation District, Natural Resource
Conse~atic~ Serv1e., and the Sureau oe ReclamaCion will be the main participants.

For the coo~dination of effo~ts petwee~ participants, a cooperative agr~ement is
avail~le by cor.tac~in9 the Natural ~eeource Conservation Service or the Silt
Conservancy District.

.

The anticipated time needed to complete this project once it i. started is 1 to 2
months.
