/ . Rules and Regulations Operation of Project Works and Distribution of Water . . 1. Project Irrigation Water. Project irrigation water shall be the water made available by the project facilities for use of the District for irrigation purposes, and shall consist of: . Water diverted from direct flow of Rifle Creek . Storage releases from Rifle Gap Reservoir . Water diverts from East Rifle Creek in exchange for water released from storage in Rifle Gap Reservoir Water diverted from the Colorado River . Usable return flow developed from use of project water in the project area. 2. Eligible Lands. Project irrigation water may be supplied only to those lands within the boundaries of the Silt Water Conservancy District which are classified as irrigable by the Bureau of Reclamation and for which project irrigation water has been allotted, 3. Call for Water. All project irrigation water shall be delivered on a call basis, and all orders for water must be written and received by the Secretary at least 48 hours before turn days, which are hereby designated as Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays of each week. The ordering day will be Saturday for Silt Mesa, Davie Ditch, and Dry Elk Valley Lateral. Delivery of water shall be made during the period from April 15 to October 15 of each year, provided, the project works are available for operation. In the event that snow conditions or other acts of God preclude operation of the project works, the aforementioned period of time will be altered as required. Domestic or stock water may be delivered to a water user after October 15 and will be charged against his next year's supply providing the recipient stands all losses from the point of diversion when his lateral is not delivering at least five cubic feet of water per second of time Any irrigation water not called for by the water users and which remains in the reservoir after October 15 of any year will revert to the District's water supply.
