Water Requirements: <br /> <br />Update data in existing report and project future City water requirement. <br />This will be based on plant production and use records as are available for <br />a period of 5 to 10 years. Population projections I.,ill be presented as have <br />been prepared by various agencies. The most feasible projection for basing <br />water plant expansions I.fill be identified. Investigation of water quality <br />at the settling and infiltration pond will be made and its ability to meet <br />projected demandsl.,ill be determined. Plan of Development: <br /> <br />Included in this section will be preliminary engineering design and slzlng of. <br />all elements of equipment proposed in Phase One construction. Data relating to <br />Phase Two will also be given, but in a more general manner. This will include <br />sizing of the pumps and selection of the number of pumps required for re1ia- <br />bil ity and f1exibi1 ity. Hydraul ic design data used to size the pumps, pipe <br />line and control gate.s l'lill be given. An assessment of the geology at the site <br />of the improvements will be given as may effect construction conditions and <br />costs. Pump wet wells will be sized for proposed pump installations and pos- <br />sible future installations. Structural design criteria of these units will <br />be included. An analysis of potential flood protection required will be pro- <br />vided, based on an existing Corp of Engineers flood plain study. Hydraulic <br />conditions relating to modifications of the present filter plant will be shown <br />and units and piping I'Jill be sized accordingly.
