Ranch Creek near Fraser (USGS station #09032000) The combined drainage area upstream from these stations is approximately 115. square miles. The streamflows at the five gauges were first adjusted for upstream transmountain diversions in order that native flows were used in the analysis. The sum of the native flows at the gauges was then computed as the VGP inflow from the Fraser, and the ratio of these inflows to the computed CBT inflows was calculated for the months of April through July. These ratios were computed for selected average, below average, and above average years and were found to be relatively stable regardless of the type of flow year. The inflow to the WGP from the upper Fraser basin was calculated by multiplying these ratios times the CBT inflows. The remaining inflows to the VGP are derived from lands in the lower Fraser basin that are relatively flat in relief compared to the lands draining from the upper basin. The topography of the lower basin is similar to that in the Willow Creek watershed. Monthly streamflow data recorded at the gauge located below Willow Creek Reservoir were adjusted for the operation of the reservoir and then compared to the computed CBT inflows in the same fashion as described above. It was determined that the streamflow below Villow Creek Reservoir could be calculated quite accurately by multiplying these ratios times the CBT inflows. The inflow to the VGP from the lower Fraser basin was computed as the product of the ratio of the northern WGP drainage areas to the Willow Creek drainage area and the computed Willow Creek streamflows. 6-2
