<br />Works of Improvement <br /> <br />In addition to the above, floodway inlet drops will be constructed to <br />control storm runoff inflows at Station 53+00 of Floodway 2 and Station <br />52+10 of the Ovid Floodway. Each drop is a part of the floodway struc- <br />tural costs. The floodway inlet drop on Floodway 2 has a 5-year fre- <br />quency storm capacity. The Ovid Floodway inlet drop has a laO-year <br />frequency storm capacity. <br /> <br />GRADE STABiliZATION STRUCTURES <br /> <br />There are active headcuts in the natural waterways below SS-2 and ss-6. <br />GS-2.1 and GS-2.2 will be installed below SS-2. Below ss-6 there is one <br />headcut that will be stabilized by structure GS-6. <br /> <br />Capacity of these grade stabi 1 jzation structures is based on, the greater <br />of the local 25~year peak storm runoff or the high stage principal <br />spillway release rate of the upstream floodwater retarding structure. <br />Structures located below SS-2 are controlled by the local flow.
