<br />Summary <br /> <br />The Sedgwick County Commissioners will assume' operation .and 111aintenance <br />responsibility for the following: <br /> <br />1. Three county road bridges across Floodway 2. <br /> <br />2. Assistance to other sponsors whenever possible wi,th main- <br />tenance needs of structural program. <br /> <br />The Town Counci 1 of Ovid wi 11 assume operation and maintenance for the <br />Ovid Floodway estimated at $530 annually. The Union Pacific Railroad <br />will maintain their new street bridge over the Ovid Floodway. All <br />maintenance will be done as needed. <br /> <br />Benefits and tosts <br /> <br />Average annual benefits accruing to the project are estimated at $400,410. <br />Of this $13,210 accrues annually from land treatment measures. The <br />remaining $387,200 accrues from structural measures with estimated flood <br />damage reduction benefits of $194,310, more intensive land use benefits <br />of $107,790, and secondary benefits of a local nature, $85, 100. <br /> <br />The average annual project cost of the structural measures amortized at <br />,5~Ji.-JLe.r..cenJ:, DYeLJ.D1L.jlear-s_Ls.-$2.L7-,.JOO-4>G+u<l+ng' .$+&.GOo-fGf-~eratfon <br />and maintenance.
