SCOPE OF SERVICES

The proposed services are divided into three phases to establish an efficient
work sequence Rnd to limit the services to those essential to an adequate
review. The estimated costs are based upon availability of pertinent data
and free exchange of information with the Design Engineer. No allowance has
been made for additional exploration or testing.

Phase I

Gcoloi\Y Review

. Review of all available foundation exploration and test results,
design and construction drawings, geologic and topographic maps
and photos, and other pertinent data.

. Detailed aite inspection of surface features of the abutments
and reservoir shoreline and of samples from foundation explor-
ation.

. Report summarizing existing geologic conditions and anticipated
effect of dam and reservoir upon stability of abutments and
shoreline alopes.

Phaso'II DesiHn Review

. Review of Phase I data and conclusions plus soil tests of
embnnkment materials, stability and seepage analyses, and
construction specifications.

. Site inspection including borrow areas and existing soil samples.

. Report summarizing conclusions and recommendations as to any
additional exploration and testing and any design modifications
to improve abutment stability.
