<br />..,f" <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />,', <br /> <br />Contract: Tudor Engineering Company <br />January 1, 1982 <br /> <br />EXHJBIT B <br />SCOPE Of SERVICES <br /> <br />Introduction <br /> <br />S.B. 439, 1981 Session, authorized the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board (hereinafter referred to as the State), to <br />conduc~ a feasibility study on the Cache la poudre Project--"An <br />integrated project upstream of the town of Fort Collins on the <br />Cache la poudre River" (see section 7 of the Bill). <br /> <br />Study Objective <br /> <br />The objective of the study is to identify and evaluate, at a <br />reconnaissance level of detail, the engineering and economic <br />feasibility of possible alternative storage projects consisting <br />or one or more storage facilities and any associated hydro- <br />electric facilities for the further development and improved <br />management of the waters of the Cache la poudre Basin. <br /> <br />Study Area <br /> <br />The study shall examine such storage facilities and <br />integrated combinations thereof as would be located on the <br />mainstem of the Cache la poudre River or its tributaries upstream <br />from the City of Fort Collins. In evaluating the potential for <br />and use of such projects, consideration shall be given to the <br />condition and utility of existing water storage and conveyance <br />facilities. <br /> <br />Conduct of the Study <br /> <br />The study shall be carried out by the Contractor under the <br />general guidance and direction of the State. In carrying out the <br />study, the Contractor shall perform the major activi~ies <br />specified below. Although listed sequentially, it is understood <br />that some activities will be carr{ed out simultaneously and that <br />some activities will be iterative. The Contractor will <br />coordinate work activities to insure efficient and timely <br />completion of all project tasks. <br /> <br />The Contractor shall make every possible use of existing <br />data and information before performing any original data <br />collection, analyses or field work. Field work shall be <br />minimized. Core drilling will not be performed unless approved <br />in advance in writing by the State. <br />
