Faulting and <br /> <br />seismic considerations in the vicinity of the site will be addressed. <br /> <br />El1.1.1 Reservoir Sites and Penstock - Surficial geological investigations of the upper <br /> <br />and lower sites will be made to assess the following: <br /> <br />o Structural character of the bedrock (i.e. jointing, fracturing and <br /> <br />faulting) with respect to foundation support conditions. <br /> <br />o Character and availability of potential construction materiaIs ( i.e. <br /> <br />RCC or conventional concrete aggregate, rockfill, fUter/drain <br /> <br />material, impermeable core material and riprap material). <br /> <br />25 <br />
