<br />.-'; <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />TASK ES.O ALTERNATIVE RESERVOIR SITES <br /> <br />Puroose: Initiate a preliminary analysis of 4 reservoir sites suggested by study area participants, <br /> <br />Methodolol!v: Evaluate reservoir sites at a very preliminary pre-reconnaissance level Based on preliminary <br /> <br /> <br />fmdings and other factors. the CWCB will decide if further analysis is to be made. <br /> <br />The following work items are included in th,: alternative reservoir sites task: <br /> <br />ES,l Data Gatherin" and Review - Boyle will perform preliminary review and data gathering <br />activities for additional reservoir sites suggested by study area participants, These sites are Ed <br />Joe Draw. Turner Creek, Beaver Canyon, and Nelson Reservoir (McCulloch Creek). Any <br /> <br /> <br />analyses performed at this stage will be approximate and at a preliminary pre,reconnaissance <br /> <br /> <br />level of detail Should convincing evidence of the unsuitability of a site be discovered at any <br /> <br /> <br />point in the investigation of that site, the investigation of that site can be stopped with the <br /> <br /> <br />approval of the ewCB. A maxilnum of seven (7) engineer clays total will be spent on this sub- <br /> <br /> <br />task. <br /> <br />ES.2 Memorandum - Boyle will prepare a memorandum to the ewCB summarizing the fmdings of <br /> <br /> <br />the preliminary review of the alternative r",;ervoir sites. The memorandum should be concise <br /> <br /> <br />and limited to approximately three (3) p~<ges of text. Coordination and discussion of the <br /> <br /> <br />findings presented in the memorandum will be accomplished by phone contact. <br /> <br />Products: <br /> <br />Concise summary memorandum (3 pages) of the findings of the preliminary review of the <br />alternative reservoir sites. <br /> <br />12 <br />
