CONCRETE PLACEMENT.

A.

Notify Engineer 48 hours before placing concrete.

B.

Place concrete in complia~ce with ACI 614 and as herein
specified. Deposit conti~uously or in layers of such
thickness that no concrete will be placed on hardened
concrete in a manner to cau~e seams or planes of weakness.
If a section cannot be placed continuously, provide con-
struction joints as specified below. Deposit concrete
near to or in its final location to avoid segregation
caused by rehandling or flo~ing. Deposit floor slab con-
crete between screeds at fi~ished level. Set screeds to
insure maximum slab thickness, allowing 1/8" shrinkage.
