3.04 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT

A. Measurement, for payment will be made of the material in
place in the completed emb~nkment to the lines, grades,
slopes, and thicknesses shown on the drawings. No
allowance will be made in ~easuremerlt for payment for
settlement, shrinkage, and consolidation of the foundation
or of the material in the embankment.

B. Payment for earthfill in the embankbemt will be made at
the unit price per cubic yard bid therefore in the bid
schedule, which price shall include all costs of work
required under this section.

No separate measurement or payment will be made for
sprinkler irrigation of the borrow pit.

D.

No separate measurement or payment will be made for
excavation and transporation of material.
