1.05

OWNER OCCUPANCY

A. Owner will occupy premises during entire period of
construction for the conduct of his normal operations

1.06 PROTECTION OF PREMISES

A. Except as otherwise noted on the Drawings, the Contractor
shall not remove trees or prush except as required for
construction, and shall protect, clean or replace all
ditches, canals, culverts, etc encountered or damaged
during construction.

1.07 PRODUCTS FURNISHED BY OWNER

A. The owner will not furnish any products, material,
equipment, labor, etc for the work herein. Contractor to
divert any water required ~ith his own forces and
equipment, for pre-wetting of the borrow area. Water will
be available in the reservoir basin.

1.08 MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT FURNISHED BY CONTRACTOR

1.09 AWARD OF BID ITEMS AND CHAN~ES IN BID QUANTITIES

Specific Bid Items in any schedule may be deleted prior to
award of the Contract if necessary to bring the Contract
into range of funds available. Contractor will be
informed of deletions prior to award. After the Contract
is awarded, the Owner may increase or decrease any item(s)
fifteen (15) percent of the total Contract Price without
further negotiation with the Contractor.

1.10 STATE AND LOCAL SALES AND USE TAX

A. The Owner is not a tax exempt entity. Contractor shall
