<br />BOND REQUIREMENT
<br />3. If this contract involves the-payment of more than ten thousand dollars 'for the -~onstn.ction, erection, repair,
<br />maintenance, or improvement of imy building, road, bridge: viaduct, hmnel. exc<1valion or other 'public work for
<br />this St'ate, the contractor shall, before' entering upon the perfonilflJ1ce of any such work included in tllis c'ontract,
<br />duly execute and deliver to and file wi.th the official. whose signature appears below for the State, a good and
<br />sufficient bond to be <ipproved' by said official in a penal sum not less than one-half of the total amount p3yable
<br />by the terms of this c-ontract. Such bond shall be duly executed by a ()ualifiea corporate surety, conditioned for'the
<br />due ,and faithful perfo-rmance of the contract; and in addition, shall pfovide that if the contractor or his subcon.

<br />MINIMUM WAGE
<br />
<br />4. -Except as atherwise provided by law, 'if this contract pravides.for the payment of mare than five.thausand
<br />dallars a!ld requires ar involves the employment of laborers or 'mechanics in the constructian, alterDtian or repair of
<br />any building or ather public work. (except highways, highway bridges, ullderp:ls~es and highway structures af all
<br />kinds) within the geographical limits af the State, the rate af wage for alllabarers and mechanics employed by the
<br />cantrnctor or any sllbcantract~r on the building or public work cavered by this cantmct shall be nat less than the
<br />prevailing rate of wages for work af a similar nature in the city, town, village or ~ther civil subdivision af the State in
<br />which the building ar ather public work is locDted. Disputes 'respecting prevailing rates will be resolved as provided in
<br />8-16.J01, CRS 1973, as alnended.' .

<br />DI~CR[MJNA TION AND AFFIRMATIVE ACTION
<br />
<br />5. The contractar agrees to. comply with the letter and spirit of (he Colarado. Antidiscrimination Act af 1957,
<br />as amended, and other applicahle law respecting discrimination and-unfilir employment practices (24-34-301, CRS
<br />1973, as am~nded), and aine<lujred'by Executive Order, Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action, dated April 16,
<br />1975. Pursuoni thereto, the fof/owing provisions shall be cqntained ill all Slate controcts or su.!rcontrocts.

<br />During the performance of this contract, the contractor agrees a's (ollows:

<br />Order, Equal Opportunity and Affinnative. Action, dated April,16, 1975, and af the rules, regulations, and
<br />relevallt Orders of the Governor:
