.

.

We will work with the Rapid Creek Reservoir Company
to determine operation and maintenance and
replacement costs on an annual basis, and will
determine the size of the contribution to the
Emergency Operating Fund.

--,
I
, I
,

B. Chanter VII ~ proiect Evaluation. ~ Chanter YLll -
Financial Proaram. These two chapters will be
combined together and will summarize proposed
construction costs and the repayment schedule.
Included in the repayment schedule will be a summary
of repayment costs for any other debts owed by the
Reservoir Company, operation and maintenance costs,
and contributions to the Emergency Operating Fund.

IV. PROJECT COSTS, SCHEDULES, AND DIVISION OF
RESPONSIBILITIES.

Our proposed not-to-exceed cost to prepare the
Feasibility Report for the scope of work as outlined
above is $4500, plus the cost of a geotechnical analysis
by a certified laboratory ($500) for a total cost of
$5000. We will maintain a tabulation of our actual
input of hours and expenses. If this amount is less
than the not-to-exceed cost, that is the amount that
will be billed for the Report. If our actual costs
exceed the listed amount of S5000, we will absorb the
extra cost.

'i

Our work will include preparation of the Feasibility
Report as outlined above, including collection of data,
calculations, drafting, typing, printing, and other
related work items. Our cost assumes that the Rapid
Creek Reservoir Company will be able to provide us with
sufficient information on the organization and financial
capabilities of the Rapid Creek Reservoir Company, and
also any existing diversion records and data on farm
ownership and irrigated acreage of shareholders.
Included in our cost, also, is one or two meetings with
representatives of the Rapid Creek Reservoir Company and
the Colorado Water Conservation Board. Any additional
work beyond that listed will be considered an extra
cost. A copy of our rate sheet is enclosed.

, 1

The Report will be prepared and submitted in time to
comply with CWCB submittal schedules. It is our
understanding that the Rapid Creek Reservoir Company
intends to start construction in the summer of 1991 if
funds are available.

5
