Replacing the existing twin 16-inch <luctile iron pipe outlet works with a 24-inch <br />cement mortar lined steel pipe encast:d in concrete controlled with an upstream 24- <br />inch by 24-inch sluice gate. <br /> <br />3. Reinforcing the existing spillway walls with concrete and constructing a uniform <br /> <br /> <br />grouted riprap drop-step discharge Chute with reinforced concrete training walls. <br /> <br />4. Dredging the reservoir to regain resetvoir storage. <br /> <br />Total capital expenses for the recommended alternatives, including construction and <br />construction management services with 20 perct:nt contingency, and design engineering, is <br />$3,086,000 (rounded). The County will pay up (0 $1,000,000 of the total project capital <br />expenses. The Town will then pay the balance ()f the total project capital expenses plus the cost <br />of this study, which is equal to $ 2,086,000 (roul1ded). The Town will apply for 100 percent of <br />their portion of the project cost through the CWtB Construction Fund loan program. <br />Construction will begin in September 2001 with completion by April 2002. <br />
