for a 12 CFS flow. The design will incorporate flush boxes to
clean the line and to direct side drainage flow past the pipe. A
concrete outlet box will be installed at the end of the new
pipeline to transition back to the existing ditch.

design issues, is included in Appendix B.

Water Rights

The Durkee Ditch was constructed starting July 8, 1895, and has a
Statement of Claim of Water Right dated October 1895, The amount
of water claimed is 8 CFS, and there are a total of 500 shares in
the DDC. The State Engineer Diversion Records for 1994 and 1995
indicate total diversions for each year of 1814 acre-feet and
1695 acre-feet respectively. See Appendix D.
