Beck and Associ.ates <br />December 1, 1981 <br /> <br />EXHIBIT B <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Introduction <br /> <br />S.B. 439, 1981 Session, authorized the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board (hereinafter referred to as the State), to <br />conduct a feasibility study on Una Reservoir--"A dam and <br />reservoir on the Colorado mainstem upstream of the town of <br />DeBeque with the reservoir extending no further upstream than to <br />a point just downstream of Parachute Creek" (see Section 7 of the <br />Bi 11 ) . <br /> <br />Study Objective <br /> <br />The objective of this study is to evaluate, at an appraisal <br />level of detail, the engineering feasibility of and the cost of <br />constructing the Una Dam and Reservoir (hereinafter referred to <br />as the project), including potential hydropower generation <br />facUities. <br /> <br />Project Area <br /> <br />The dam and reservoir shall be sited on the mairistem of the <br />Colorado River upstream of the town of DeBeque and downstream <br />from Parachute Creek. The project area will include the dam and <br />reservoir as well as appurtenant structures and rights-of-way and <br />all lands which could potentially benefit from the project. <br /> <br />Conduct <br /> <br />of the Study <br /> <br />The <br />direction <br />tor shall <br />set forth <br /> <br />study shall be performed under the general guidance and <br />of the Colorado Water Conservation Board. The Contrac- <br />be responsible for all work tasks and written products <br />hereinafter. <br /> <br />Work Tasks <br /> <br />The Contractor shall be responsible for performing all of <br />the work tasks listed below in accordance with the descriptions <br />given for each work task, which descript ions are intended to show <br />the methodology to be employed and associated depth of analysis <br />for each work task.
