In like manner, the increased shoreline <br /> <br /> <br />will benefit waterfowl. Additionally, the greater depth will promote <br />better thermal stratification, thereby helping to control excessive <br /> <br />warming or cooling of the lake. <br /> <br />If the reservoir storage is released for the Yampa Project, the lowered <br /> <br />reservoir may create some inconvenience to the water front access and <br /> <br />an objectionable view of ungrassed reservoir banks may be exposed. <br /> <br />The drawdown may also impose some undesirable effects on wildlife <br /> <br />habitat.
