It defines capital
improvement programs of $442,000 for Pagosa Springs and $364,000 for A WC over the next five
years, based upon a review of water treatment plants, transmission and distribution facilities, and
water system leakage improvements. Recommended improvements include:

Town of Pal!osa Springs

. Normal maintenance and the addition of a few water meters to the town's distribution
system

. Minor repiping of the inlet and normal maintenance of the water treatment plant

. Bypass of transmission pipeline around soil slide

Archuleta Water Company System

. Enlargement of main trunk pipelines

3.7 PRELIMINARY OFFICIAL STATEMENT DATED SEPTEMBER 1992 FOR $1.400.000
PAWSD GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS. SERIES 1992

This statement offered prospective bond purchasers financial, historic, and other information on the
P A WSD. The net proceeds of the bonds are expected to be used to construct a transmission line,
expand the Hatcher water treatment plant to 2 MGD, and construct a 16,700 foot water transmission
line extending the Dutton Ditch into the Martinez Creek drainage.
