<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MINNESOTA CANAL AND RESERVOIR COMPANY <br />PAONIA, COLORADO 81428 <br /> <br />June 14, 1993 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Grant Farnsworth, President. <br />Present were Board Members Neil Thompson, Dave Johnston, Rich <br />Childs. Jerry Thompson was also present. <br /> <br />The minutes OT Tebruary 20, 1993 meeting were read and approved <br />as read. <br /> <br />Grant Farnsworth stated that Mountain Coal is not interested in a <br />meeting at this time. Since the public meeting Mountain Coal has <br />done some work on the monitors such as cleaning out the Beaver <br />Ponds. We need to start keeping very good records Tor down the <br />road use. <br /> <br />Grant Farnsworth noted we have to have approval by the Board on <br />the additional over run on the contract. <br /> <br />Neil Thompson made a motion <br />Report Contract C 513581. <br />Tavor. <br /> <br />to accept Amendment #1 to Feasibility <br />Rich Childs seconded and all were in <br /> <br />Grant Farnsworth reoorted the upper ditch is not in very good <br />shape. The mountain slide in and Tilled the ditch above the <br />pipe. We have 3 or 4 small slides up higher. We cannot get a <br />Tull ditch OT water until we get this cleaned. We can get to the <br />one by the ditch cabin now but cannot get up to the others. The <br />partial Tlume washed out at Dry Fork. Grant suggest we set it in <br />concrete. This is a 3 Toot Tlume. We need to Tix it now beTore <br />we turn in deep creek. Grant suggest that one OT the Board go <br />with him at this time to look at this and decide the right way to <br />Tix it. They should also look at the smaller slides at this time. <br />Jerry Thompson will go with him to see about alloT this. <br /> <br />We ares till <br />restricted to <br /> <br />having some movement <br />33 ~eet. <br /> <br />at the Minnesota Dam. <br /> <br />We are <br /> <br />Problems at the Beaver Reservoir were discussed. Mountain Coal <br />has inTormed Grant they will use 10,000 Teet OT water a day ~or 3 <br />months this summer. <br /> <br />Jerry Thompson gave a report on the Lea~y Spurge <br />Montrose ~irm did on our upper ditch. Jerry Worked <br />with the people that sprayed.
