<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Scope of Services <br />For the <br /> <br />TAMARACK PROJECT <br /> <br />General <br /> <br />This CWCB grant is for managed groundwater projects on the Tamarack Ranch and Pony <br />Express State Wildlife Areas (SW A.) The CWCB grant will be used to continue development <br />of Phase lA, lB, and IC at Tamarack Ranch SWA (see Figures 3 and 5, attached) and the <br />facilities at Pony Express SW A (see Figure 4, attached). A goal of the Tamarack Project funded <br />by this Grant is to continue the demonstration of the numerous benefits that can result from a <br />well designed and managed groundwater recharge project on Colorado Division of wildlife <br />(CDOW) SWA's. <br /> <br />1. Completion of Phase 1 at the Tamarack SW A: <br /> <br />" The CWCB grant will be used to develop and operate all or part of up to two new recharge <br />wells (including installation of electricity and pipelines) as part of Phase IA for the <br />Tamarack SW A. (See Figures 3 and 5, attached.) <br /> <br />" The CWCS grant will be used to develop and operate all or part of up to four new recharge <br />wells (including installation of electricity and pipelines) as part of Phase I S for the <br />Tamarack SWA. (See Figure 3, attached.) <br /> <br />" The CWCS grant will be used to develop and operate all or part of up to three new recharge <br />wells (including installation of electricity and pipelines) as part of Phase IC for the <br />Tamarack SWA. (See Figure 3, attached.) <br /> <br />2. Completion of facilities at the Pony Express SWA: <br /> <br />" The CWCS grant will be used to develop, construct, and operate all or part of the facilities <br />shown in the attached Figure 4. These facilities include a pump on the top of the sump pipe, <br />buried plastic pipeline to the recharge basins, an expanded infiltration gallery system, and <br />installation of electricity so that pumping can proceed for recharge and wetland <br />development at Pony Express SW A. <br /> <br />Scope of services <br />The Tamarack Project <br />John Van Sciver, June 26, 1998 <br /> <br />Page 1 <br />
