<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The District Board then asked local water users to join with them in conducting a <br />fonnal Water and Storage Future Needs Assessment for all the water user <br />groups in the District, and fonned the Southeastern Colorado Water and Storage <br />Needs Assessment Enterprise (Assessment Enterprise) to facilitate the project. <br /> <br />Assessment Enterprise Partnership for the Assessment Project-The <br />following groups have joined with the Assessment Enterprise as "local <br />participants. in the project: <br /> <br />Arkansas Groundwater Users Association <br />Catlin Canal Co, <br />City of Canon City <br />City of Florence <br />City of La Junta <br />City of Las Animas <br />City of Salida <br />CWPDA <br />Holbrook Mutuallrr. Co, <br />Pueblo Board of Water Works <br />Public Service Co, <br />Security Water and Sanitation Dist. <br />Stratmoor Hills Water and Sanitation Dist. <br />Widefield Water and Sanitation Dist. <br /> <br />Bessemer Ditch Co. <br />City of Aurora <br />City of Colorado Springs <br />City of Fountain <br />City of Lamar <br />City of Rocky Ford <br />Colorado Canal Co, <br />Fort Lyon Canal Company <br />LAWMA <br />Pueblo West Metro Dist. <br />St. Charles Mesa Water <br />Southeastern District <br />Upper Ark, Water District <br /> <br />Each local participant has committed cash and/or in-kind contributions to the <br />Assessment Enterprise for the purpose of conducting the Assessment Project. In <br />addition, the Colorado Water Conservation Board has joined the partnership and <br />is providing financial and technical staff contributions to the Project. <br /> <br />Project Management <br /> <br />Assessment Enterprise / Storage Study Committee I Project Work <br />Team-The Assessment Project will be directed by. the Board of the Assessment <br />Enterprise as represented by Steve Arveschoug, District General Manager, and <br />Project Manager for the Assessment Project. Further, the Storage Study <br />Committee, which is made up of all local participants (as listed), will serve as <br />advisory to the Enterprise Board, and guide the Assessment Project by making <br />recommendations to the Board. <br /> <br />The Storage Study Committee has appointed a Project Work Team (a 14- <br />member team representing the group of local participants), which works directly <br />with Steve Arveschoug, and will be responsible for evaluating the proposals as <br />submitted, The Work Team will also conduct the interviews as a part of the <br />selection process. <br /> <br />2 <br />
