<br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />The Upper Platte and Beaver Creek Canal Company and the Lower Platte and <br /> <br /> <br />Beaver Canal Company have headgates on the south side of the' South Platte River <br /> <br /> <br />approximately 15 to 18 miles east of the Jackson Lake Reservoir Outlet Canal. These <br /> <br /> <br />ditches run easterly for approximately ten miles until they intersect Beaver Creek. Both <br /> <br /> <br />ditches obtain their water out of the South Platte River from releases from Jackson Lake <br /> <br /> <br />Reservoir, The Hillrose Irrigation Company is a part of the Lower Platte and Beaver <br /> <br /> <br />Canal Company and obtains its water from this system of ditches. <br /> <br />The Deuel and Snyder Ditch Company's headgate is located on the north side of <br />the South Platte River near Fort Morgan, approximately 1 5 miles downstream from the <br />Jackson Lake Reservoir Outlet Canal. This ditch parallels the South Platte River and <br />terminates at the South Platte River approximately seven miles east of its headgate. <br /> <br />Water delivered to these companies is utilized primarily for agricultural purposes. <br />The Company has estimated that 97 percent of the water (based on share ownership) <br />used out of Jackson Lake Reservoir is for agricultural purposes, <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />12 <br />
