The estimated annual costs for <br />the complete construction of the two projects recommended in the Supple- <br />ment will require $5,250.00, an annual payment of $3,210.00 for replace- <br />ment of approximately 4,000 feet of treated water transmission li,ne and <br />$2,040.00 for the installati,on of a hydroelectric plant,. The total <br />construction costs are estimated to be $91,250.00, $55,500.00 for' the <br />replacement of a portion of the treated water transmission line and <br />$35,750.00 for the installation of the hydroelectric generating uni.t. <br /> <br />The 1981 budget for the Town of Hotchkiss shows $25,000.00 bei,ng placed <br />in a reserve fund, the $5,250.00 required for the annual payments of the <br />recommended projects would be taken from the reserve fund. The Farmers <br />Home Administration requires that the Town of Hotchkiss have a reserve <br />fund of at least one annual interest and pri,ncip1e payment of $36,000.00, <br />however; the Farmers Home Administration allows this $36,000.00 reserve <br />fund to be bui,lt up over a period of ten years. <br /> <br />Please review the contents of this Supplement and advise me of your thoughts <br />and the avai1abili,ty of funding from the Colorado Water Conservation Board's <br />Constructi,on Fund.
