<br />Task 3--Data Acquisition/Analysis. <br /> <br />1. Review previous planning studies for the area. This <br />will include the Bureau of Reclamation reports, <br />City/County planning reports, Environmental Impact <br />Statements. Brown and Caldwell will obtain these <br />documents from the Bureau of Reclamation, the Ci'iCB, <br />Montezuma County, and Dolores Water Conservancy and <br />City of Cortez. <br /> <br />2. Identify property owners of record, existing cights- <br />of-way, and dedicated easements from Montezuma County <br />Recorders' office records. Data collected by City of <br />Cortez's attorney in evaluation of existing pipeline <br />easements will be made available to Brown and Caldwell <br />by the City. <br /> <br />3. Collect data on water rights and water demands of the <br />City and other existing and potential customers. This <br />data will be collected from the City of Cortez, from <br />eWCB, and from the Bureau of Reclamation Environmental <br />Impact Statement. <br /> <br />4. Review the existing pipeline and as-built drawings (if <br />available) and existing geotechnical and survey <br />information. Data sources will be U.S. Geological <br />Survey, City of Cortezl and the CWCB. <br /> <br />5. Review existing utility information and identify areas <br />of potential conflict. 'Utilities operating in the <br />area will be contacted to locate water, gas, and <br />electric services foe the alignments being considered. <br /> <br />Task 4--Existing Pipeline Evaluation. <br /> <br />1. Upon review of pipeline as-builts (i.f available), <br />determine ideal pipe flow characteristics and compare <br />to actual flows' observed and/oe recorded at the <br />Filtration Plant. <br /> <br />Task S--Corridor Study. <br /> <br />1. Determine potential pipeline alignment corridors and <br />identify needed rights-ofway. Ev~luate them on a <br />preliminary basis for feasible easement locations, <br />pipeline costs, and interference with utilities and <br />other uses. <br /> <br />2. Compare alternative alignments to the existing <br />pipeline corridor for cost comparisons of construction <br />costs I easement costs, and route restoration costs. <br /> <br />Exhibit f>._-2 <br /> <br />3/1S/8S-R <br />
