<br />EXHII3IT A <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Introduction <br /> <br />House Bills 1102 and 1128 of the 1983 and 1984 session <br />respectively authorized the Colorado Nater Conservation Board <br />(eWeB) to expend monies as state participation in the Delores <br />Federal Project. part of the proposed State project is to conduct <br />a feasiblity study for and eventually construct a raw water <br />pipeline from the McPhee dam outlet works to the City of Cortez <br />Water Filtration Plant. <br /> <br />Study Objective <br /> <br />The objective of the study is to evaluate, at a <br />feasibility study and preliminary design level of detail, the <br />size, type, route , and preliminary construction cost estimates of <br />the proposed pipeline from the Delores Tunnel Terminal Structure <br />to the Cortez Water Filtration Plant. <br /> <br />Work Tasks <br /> <br />The engineering services noted below are based upon the <br />objectives of the study as outlined in the request for proposal <br />(RFP) and subsequent discussions between the CWCB and Brown and <br />Caldwell. The work effort has been divioed into tasks and <br />subtasks to provide a detailed description of Our services, to <br />delineate the approach, and to provide a basiS for estimating the <br />level of effort required. <br /> <br />Task I--Management. Review of study data and engineering <br />work by managerial and corporate level engineers, <br />preparation of progress reports, correSpondence with CNCB, <br />and supervision of project staff. <br /> <br />Task 2--Review Meetings. Attendance of the Brown and <br />Caldwell study/design team at review meetings with CHCB <br />and City of Cortez staff will be required during the <br />study.
