I1r-1530, dated December 13, 1948, which superceded and replaced several <br /> <br />previons contracts; Contract No. 14-06-400-1067, dated June 20, 1960; and <br /> <br />Contract }lo. 14-05-400-4419, dated March 16, 1955, as amended March 13, 1967 <br /> <br />and May 27, 1970, hereinafter referred to as Government-Association Contracts, <br /> <br />providing, among other things, that the Contractor is to repay the United States <br /> <br />for the costs of constructing and rehabilitating, and is to operate and main- <br /> <br />tain. the Uncompahgre Project; and <br /> <br />~IEREAS. portions of the Uncompahgre Project are in need of rehabili- <br /> <br />tation. betterment. and replacement, as described in the report on proposed <br />
