Scheduling problems related to effectively dovetailing the Project with other important ongoing water supply planning efforts may also be challenging, Oeliverables A task memorandum would be prepared summarizing the results of the scoping efforts, This memo would identify the parties that must be involved in the analysis of the identified opportunities and describe the nature of their interests and expertise. It would describe the systems integration options identified in the scoping process and would present any issues and concerns identified by the interested parties, It would summarize the availability of existing information and models including the status and scope of ongoing studies. Cost The initially estimated budget for this task.is $8,657. Refine Study Plan Purpose This task will produce a more specified and directed work plan based on the results of the initial scoping meetings. The work plan will identify specific data requirements and sources, geographic scope, analytical requirements and tools, investigations necessary to define facility needs and financial, environmental and institutional issues to be investigated, The results of this task will be used to guide the remainder of the Study process, Methodology and Evaluation Techniques The Project Team would incorporate the results of the scoping meetings into a draft Refined Study Plan. This draft would include detailed descriptions of the tasks required for data collection and analysis and investigation of the water supply opportunities. The Refined Study Plan would identify which data were readily available in useful form from other ongoing studies and from State agencies, and which data would have to be gathefed and developed through special studies, The draft would be reviewed by the Study Management team and T AC, and comments would be reflected in a Final Study Plan. Linkages With Other Tasks This task will rely upon results of the scoping process described above and will specifically define other tasks necessary for completion of the MWSI project. Likely Sources of Information To Be Used The primary source of information for refinement of the study plan will be input from TAC, the Project Management Committee and the consulting team.
