Please provide a brief description of the owner's
existing water supply facilities. Describe any
existing operational or maintenance problems:

Seven Hundred and forty-four (744) shares of Grand
Valley Irrigation Co. (GVIC) water is delivered to 35
shareholders via GVIC headgate #ML 539, located near 1340 17
1/2 Road (see attached map). Each share of GVIC is equal to
.4 miners' inch = 4.68 gallons per minute or approximately
0.01 second feet or 0.0198 acres feet of water. The water is
supplied to the individual shareholders by 2 lines of
plastic pipe, each 15 inches in diameter, approximately 200
feet long. The remaining distance of 2.2 miles of concrete-
lined open ditch. Major operational problems consist of the
rapidly deterioration of the concrete lining of the ditch,
allowing seepage and loss of water to the users, or in some
cases, flooding due to breaks in the existing structure. In
addition, trash build-up at the headgate, and along the open
ditch, results in uneven water supply to the users and
results in inefficient irrigation and increased salinity
problems.

6.
