<br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, water currently being used for domestic and livestock purposes <br />in much of rural Morgan County is of poor quality; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, water supplies have been found which are of sufficient quantity <br />and quality to meet current and projected future needs; and <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a feasibility study has been completed for construction of a <br />water distribution system to serve a specific portion of Morg?n County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the estimated total cost of such a system, including water <br /> <br /> <br />supply, construction costs, legal and engineering fees, contingencies and <br /> <br /> <br />inflation during construction is $7,647,000; and <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, commercial sources of funding are not practical at this time; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board and the USDA Farmers <br /> <br /> <br />Home Administration have programs of financial assistance for such projects; <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />. <br />I <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved that the Morgan County Quality <br /> <br /> <br />Water Association file applications for financial assistance with the <br /> <br /> <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board and the USDA Farmers Home Administration <br /> <br /> <br />for a total amount of $7,600,000.
