GENEfiAL COMMENTS:
On 11/02/8A at the ECP review meetinP a main focus of concern seemed
to center on those commitments that required attention prior to the
initiation ar completion of reservoir filling. Following is a list of those
commitments: 1,2,7,4,5,8,16,18,19,22,27,25,27,28,29,]0,] 1,]2,36,36,40,41,
5],54,57,66, and 68.
FISIIERY
1. Prior to the Start of reservoir construction, FES
B/ UYWCD will prepare with input from BR, DOW, 404
EPA b FWS a water quality management plan far
submittal [o the COE for their review and
approval. The plan will provide far the
operation of the reservoir and dam to minimize
adverse impacts to the aquatic ecosystem in
downstream reaches of the Yampa River and
maximize water quality within the reservoir.
- The plan will include an operation plan and a
monitoring plan.
-Results of ali water quality monitoring
activity shall be submitted for review to the
coE.
- UYWCD will refine the reservoir operation plan
as data from the water quality monitoring plan
becomes available and if necessary, petition the
Water Quality Control Commission of the Stale of
Colorado to set a nutrient standard for the
reservoir.
