The Casper Wyoming Office of the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS)
prepared preliminary engineering designs and a cost estimate for the project. The plans
and specifications are included in Appendix G, and the cost estimate is in Appendix B.
The estimated cost to construct the project is $616,409. The value of the engineering
provided by the NRCS is estimated at $41,600 (6.75% of the construction costs), for a
total project cost of $658,009. The cost breakdown is summarized in Table 1.

Social, Economic, and Physical Impacts

The project will have no significant social impacts. The project will provide water to an
existing irrigation system that currently benefits ODC shareholders and hundreds of
people in the county.
