Earth and Earth Rock Dams, written by WCC <br />principals (including Mr, William Clevenger from the Denver office), is widely used by <br />practicing professionals and by geotechnical educators. Woodward-Clyde's broad project experience and personnel resources <br />enable us to bring world-class experience and expertise to small and large projects alike, <br />These qualifications bring the experience to your project for providing unique cost-saving <br />solutions to Brush Hollow Dam, <br /> <br />3.1.2 Dam Design and Rehabilitation <br /> <br />wec has provided geotechnical engineering expertise on more than 2,000 dams <br />nationwide and overseas, with more than 400 being in the western United States, WCC <br />has performed investigations; analyses; design of plans and specifications; construction <br />inspection and management on new dams; and inspection, safety evaluation, remedial <br />design, emergency repairs and construction inspection and management on existing dams. <br />The firm has mobilized multidisciplinary teams of geotechnical engineers, engineering <br />geologists, surface and groundwater hydrologists, structural engineers, and civil engineers <br />to repair problems associated with darn and abutment stability, seepage, cracking, <br />liquefaction and seismic stability, flood routing, and spillway capacity.
