<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />* estimate of land to be purchased and cost, <br /> <br />* appraisal cost estimate of the dam, reservoir, land <br />and other facilities necessary to collect and store water <br />(HWE proposes to use CWCB standard percentages for <br />contingencies, engineering and administration.), <br /> <br />* construction cost per acre-foot of yield, <br /> <br />* and financial evaluations to the extent requested by <br />the CWCB. <br /> <br />The reports will include: descriptive narrative; location map; dam <br />cross section and maximum section; water operation and cost tables; <br />and graphs where appropriate. <br /> <br />Task 4 - CWCB AND ENTITY REVIEW <br />This task provides time for the CWCB and the entities who are <br />involved with each dam site, an opportunity to review the technical <br />evaluations, while there is time to make modifications and prior to <br />preparation of the final report. <br /> <br />HWE will send a complete package of information to the CWCB and the <br />individual dam evaluations to the respective entities. HWE will <br />meet with the CWCB staff during this task to discuss the findings <br />and conclusions. The other entities will be contacted by phone. <br /> <br />Following this review, HWE will modify the evaluations as per the <br />comments. <br /> <br />Task 5 - REPORT PREPARATION <br />The final report will include adequate narrative to summarize the <br />findings, describe the process, describe the assumptions, and <br />coherently present the work that was developed. <br /> <br />The report will include: as appendices, the one page descriptions <br />of canvased sites, and the technical evaluation reports for each of <br />the dam sites. The main body of the report will include narrative, <br />charts, and tables to summarize the findings. HWE is prepared to <br />make recommendations based upon the technical data. An executive <br />summary will be prepared that summarizes the results and <br />recommendations in a few pages. <br /> <br />A two week period to review a final draft is included in this task. <br />Approximately, 3 weeks will be required to prepare the final draft, <br />followed by the 2 week CWCB review, then 1 week to finalize the <br />report. <br /> <br />HWE will submit 12 copies to the CWCB in three ring binders. <br /> <br />5 <br />
