Conditional Rights <br /> <br />Because many of the storage sites for the West Divide <br />Project have been studied in the past, water rights filings have been <br />made and maintained. Others are new and have no associated con- <br />ditional right. The conditional <br />storage right was 69,009 acre-feet with a basin rank of 4417. The <br />possibility of transferring the Pladta Reservoir conditional storage <br />right into the West Divide Creek basin was considered in this study. <br />The transfer possibility was not pursued beyond an initial evaluation <br />because 1) there is no immediate need for senior storage rights to <br />allow the project to work as presently envisioned, 2) the Placita <br />rights are not very senior and 3) other nearby conditional storage <br />rights exist which might be transferred if necessary. <br /> <br />III-a <br />
