<br />Water Supply
<br />
<br />Of the average annual water supply of 26,300 acre-feet, approximately
<br />10,800 acre-feet would be provided for mUllicipa1 and domestic use and
<br />15,500 acre-feet for irrigation and outdoor residential use. It is antic-
<br />ipated that initially 12,600 acre-feet of the supply would be provided for
<br />irrigation and 2,900 acre-feet for outdoor residential use. As the popu-
<br />lation of the project area increases, however, there is expected to be a
<br />gradual shifting of irrigable land and irrigation water to residential use.
<br />The amounts that would be converted in use at a particular time cannot now
<br />be determined but estimates have been made as a. basis for the project stud-
<br />ies. The table below shows the estimated use for irrigation and outdoor
<br />residential use by years and the average annual use for the first 50 years
<br />and 100 years of project operation.
