Due to the availability of aerial photographs. no aerial photography from EI Paso <br />or Teller County will be incorporated into the analysis described in Part J I see <br />above. <br />2. Stream Segments within EI Paso, Teller and Pueblo Counties - Fountain Creek. <br />Monument Creek, Sand Creek, Cottonwood Creek. Williams Creek, Jimmy Camp <br />Creek _ where dala is available on sediment. water quality. USGS gauging stations, <br />stream flow data, floodplain boundaries. utility crossings, inigation facilities, <br />diversions, and wetlands will be identified as points in GIS maps and mapped as data <br />layers in Arc/Info and Arcview. Locations on the GIS maps will be coded to <br />correspond directly to information contained in the database. This information \,,'ill <br />provide the foundation for future uses, to identify possible data gaps and locations <br />where more infonnation needs to be collected. <br />3. An inventory of all available existing infonnation will be conducted (0 determine <br />what infonnation could be added in the development of the database. Information will <br />be identified from other sources and any problems associated with obtaining other <br />data sources. <br />4. Infonnation available on the hydrologic characteristics (peak flood discharges, daily <br />streamflows, low flows); physical characteristics (channel dimensions, improvements, <br />hydraulic capacities, stream classification); erosion/sedimentation characteristics <br />(channel and streambed material, areas of erosion and deposition, sediment tmnsport <br />data); waler quality characteristics (physical, chemical and biological datil; beneficial <br />uses; stream standards); and habitat characteristics (aquatic and terrestrial habitat; <br />species) of the previously identified locations will be entered into the GIS database. <br />The corresponding locations will be overlayed on the basemap and linked to the <br />database so when an individual point is clicked in Arcview or Arc/Info the <br />infonnation will appear. <br />5. If available, an individual photo for each of the previously identified locations will be <br />scanned in (if not already available in a digital fonnat) and linked to the individual <br />locations shown on the basemap. <br />
