<br />" <br />.' . <br /> <br />, . <br /> <br />i <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />","''''''. <br /> <br />Section III - Equipment Standby <br /> <br />Weeminuche Construction Authority mobilized the pipelinr exc~vatinR, <br />laying, and backfill equipm~nt spreads with the intent of continuous <br />utilization thru the completion of pipeline work. It was anticipated <br />in accordance with the terms of the contract documents that the work <br />would progress smoothly from Division I pipeline work into similar work <br />in Division II. Right-of-way problems not the fault nor yrsponsibility <br />of Weeminuche has prevented this from occurring. After M~rch 2, 1989, <br />when we no longer could proceed with the pipeline work into the <br />Division II segment oi the contract, some of the equipment obtained and <br />..made available-for this project was of necessity placed on standby.- <br />Since the partial suspension of work we have made every ~fort to <br />obtain maximum utilization of the equipment. Only that equipment <br />originally in use on the Division II work which could not be utilized <br />on other work after March 2, 1989 is included for standby <br />reimbursement. Where equipment coul~ be utilized part-time after that <br />period only the non-utilized portion oi time is reported for standby. <br /> <br />In accordance with generally accepted standby cost practice, <br />presented in our claim are 50Y. af th~ non-operated equipment <br />in our bid presentation. <br /> <br />the costs <br />rate used <br />
