The
alternative entitled "modified operations of Clinton Gulch Reservoir" was
approached by the purchase of Clinton Gulch Reservoir from Climax
Molybdenum Company in 1992 rather than by the Study's suggestion of
modified operations. Summit County is one of nine entities that participated
in the purchase of Clinton Gulch Reservoir through a loan from the CWCB.
This, however, was not a construction project as it was the purchase of an
existing facility with storage and water rights. As a shareholder, Summit

J '. .-~.~.
