In addition to those comments noted under Alternate

IV, Alternate IVa (revised) presents the following additional

advantage:

1) Cost - Alternate IVa (revised) is approximately
$12,000.00 cheaper than Alternate IV. A"smaller

tank can be used in view of the raw water storage

and pumping unit in the treatment plant which will

supply additional fire demand protection. This

would save approximately $39,000.00.

2) Although monies have been allocated for land and

easements, all of it may not be needed. If the

pipeline can parallel as nearly as possible to the

existing Ridgway Ditch, the right of adverse posses-

sion may be employed due to the continual use of the

ditch. Such would not be the case under Alternate

Disadvantages to Alternate IVa (revised) in addition to

1) Alternate IV would utilize a more gradual grade with

a paralleling access road. Alternate IVa (revised),
