Any rock en- <br /> <br />countered should be of shale composition and diggable by a <br /> <br />backhoe. (Note Exhibits XI a. & b., for soil and geological <br /> <br /> <br />information.) Pipe will be laid to a bury depth of 6'-00" <br /> <br /> <br />in the borrow ditches and 7'-00" when crossing State and <br /> <br /> <br />County highways. <br />In securing an alternate point of diversion, the legal <br /> <br />aspects of Alternates I & II must be taken into consideration. <br /> <br />Opposition to this action could cause a lengthy and costly suit. <br /> <br />Compounding this problem are the psychological aspects of "bad <br /> <br />feelings" which are usually generated among all parties con- <br /> <br />cerned. However, careful deliberations must be taken in weighing <br /> <br />the difficulties anticipated in seeking an alternate point of <br /> <br />diversion as compared to those already being encountered under <br /> <br />21 <br />
