<br />- , <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />PROPOSAL <br /> <br />FOR <br /> <br />CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICE <br />FOR <br />.' <br />FEASIB~LITY FOR NORTH POUDRE IRRIGATION COMPANY'S <br />RESERVOIR NO, 15 DAM <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />The North Poudre Irrigation Company's Reservoir No. 15 Dam is <br />located in Section 33, TlON, and in Section 4, T9N, R69 West of <br />the 6th P.1-1., Larimer County, Colorado. <br /> <br />The original embankment was constructed in 1909. The Outlet works <br />was reconstructed between 1948 and 1950. <br /> <br />The decreed high water line is Gage Rod 42.2 feet. The Colorado <br />State Engineer's Office has placed an official restriction to <br />Gage Rod 40.0. <br /> <br />The Reservoir lies at the upper end of The North poudre Irrigation <br />Company System, making storage at this location valuable to the <br />Owners. They wish to pursue a reconstruction project to enable <br />them to safely store to the decreed high water line. <br /> <br />II. PREVIOUS STUDIES <br /> <br />Reference is made to "Preliminary Report of Rehabilitation of North <br />Poudre Irrigation Company Reservoir No, 15 Dam" which was prepared <br />in December, 1975. That report includes: data sheet; photos; <br />copies of original decrees, maps and plans; soils and Geologic <br />reports prepared by Empire Labortories; hydrology calculations <br />for spillway sizing; preliminary stability calculations; sketches <br />of proposed improvments; and estimated construction costs. <br /> <br />The North Poudre Irrigation Company is in <br />Repairs to Fossil Creek Dam and Spillway. <br /> <br />the process of completing <br />The Feasibility Report <br /> <br />- 1- <br />
