<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />President Jouflas found a quorum present and convened the meeting <br />at 8:39 a.m. <br /> <br />After discussion and vote the board passed the following motions <br />unanimously, except as noted: <br /> <br />Approving the Minutes and Actions of the July 1, 1986 Remand <br />Case Selection Committee meeting; <br /> <br />Approving the Minutes and Actions of the July 15, 1986 Board <br />of Directors Meeting; <br /> <br />Approving the Minutes and Actions of the July 25, <br />Juniper-Cross Mountain Committee Meeting; <br /> <br />1986 <br /> <br />Approving the Minutes and Actions of the July 29, 1986 Investment <br />Committee Conference Call Meeting. <br /> <br />Approving and Minutes and Actions of the September 29, 1986 <br />Executive Committee Conference Call Meeting. <br /> <br />Approving the Minutes and Actions of the October 3, 1986 Budget <br />Committee Meeting. <br /> <br />{ <br />I <br /> <br />Accepting and approving the Treasurer's Reports for July, August <br />and September; <br /> <br />Accepting the quarterly reports of the Secretary-Engineer and <br />General Counsel. <br /> <br />Directing that the President and Secretary execute a contract <br />with the Colorado Water Conservation Board and the City of Craig, <br />which contract shall provide for a feasibility study to analyze the <br />potential and cost of increasing the storage at the existing Elkhead <br />Reservoir for the benefit of the City of Craig; and in the interest <br />of fostering increased storage and beneficial use of water on the <br />western slope, the River District shall contribute 50% of the cost <br />of the study, but not to exceed $10,250, and the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board shall. contribute an equal payment; and, the study <br />shall compare costs and ability of the City of Craig to utilize water <br />from alternative sources.
